Battery powerhouse will unveil Pikes Peak Hill Climb race cars and showcase new ORANGETOP lithium QH6

GLENDALE, WI (April 16, 2025) – OPTIMA Batteries, a division of Clarios, is thrilled to announce its partnership as the Official Battery of the popular Air|Water show – complete with a unique display at the event. As a nod to the upcoming release of the new ORANGETOP QH6 automotive lithium battery, OPTIMA Batteries will showcase the highly anticipated product and debut its sponsored 2025 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb race cars at the show in Orange County, California, on April 26, 2025.

OPTIMA’s involvement in the Air|Water event, the introduction of the new ORANGETOP QH6 and the upcoming Pikes Peak racing effort are all part of a continued push to make lithium technology more readily available to enthusiasts. The Air|Water event and its dedicated Porsche fanbase offer the perfect environment to bring these efforts together.
The OPTIMA Batteries team looks forward to a guest appearance from Porsche racing icon, Jeff Zwart, at their Air|Water booth where he will unveil the new livery of the OPTIMA-supported BBI prototype EVO he will be piloting in the 2025 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.  Pikes Peak regulars Jeff Zwart and Loni Unser will be at the helm of OPTIMA’s Pikes Peak effort, putting the ORANGETOP QH6 to the ultimate test with the iconic BBI Porsche race team.
