Why did you choose to join Clarios?
I chose Clarios primarily because of its excellent culture. People are always willing to answer your questions, or help you find the answer. There are many opportunities to contribute and grow, but maintaining a healthy work-life balance is also prioritized. The company's commitment to the environment, proven by its circular economy and numerous sustainability initiatives, was another important factor in my decision to join.
What would you say to someone exploring Clarios as a choice fresh out of college or trade/tech school?
I would say that this is a great place to start your career by getting a varied experience through one of the rotational programs. Along the way you will build a diverse skillset and meet many people with all sorts of academic and professional backgrounds. If you are still contemplating what specific path you want to take (like me), this is a perfect environment to explore what you do and don't like while making meaningful contributions to the company.
What is the most important thing you got out of working a summer with us during college?
I think the most important things I learned were professional skills. My internship with Clarios was my first experience in a corporate environment, and I developed my communication, collaboration, organization, and leadership skills. While technical knowledge is of course essential, it is these skills that have empowered me to work effectively with a wide range of people both inside and outside the company.

Also ask about the corporate culture and how you can grow and succeed. Clarios is a great place to start with lots of different jobs to explore and great people to network with.
What is the most important thing you got out of working a summer with us during college?
After my internship at Clarios, I gained knowledge of new tools and skills, the automotive industry (and batteries of course), how to ask for help when you’re stuck on a problem and more confidence in my abilities as an engineer.

Why did you choose to join Clarios?
I chose the rotational program because it gave me the opportunity to experience different kinds of roles, to learn more about myself and what my skills are. It helped me network within the company and make connections and friendships at work. I chose Clarios in general, because it is an industry leader in an increasingly exciting battery industry, with its global headquarters in Glendale, WI and offered great compensation and benefits.
What would you say to someone exploring Clarios as a choice fresh out of college or trade/tech school?
Clarios is well-positioned in an industry that is not going anywhere. There are friendly coworkers (especially in the rotational programs), opportunities to travel, and an emphasis on work-life balance (including half-day Fridays in the summer). It is a great place to start your career.
What is the most important thing you got out of your summer with us?
Going to a plant and seeing what the manufacturing processes look like, what the product really looks like on the inside, really helps give perspective to what we all are working towards in the organization. Every intern should go to at least one plant to learn as much as they can!
