GLENDALE, Wisc. USA / OCT. 9, 2024 – Clarios, a global leader in advanced energy storage solutions, has contributed $250,000 to the American Red Cross to assist communities affected by Hurricane Helene and to prepare for the potential impact of Hurricane Milton. The donation, made through the Clarios Foundation, reflects the company's commitment to supporting disaster recovery efforts and helping communities where it operates.

The donation will aid individuals and communities most affected by Hurricane Helene and those in the path of Hurricane Milton, which is expected to make landfall this week. The funds will support immediate relief, such as shelter, food, and water, as well as long-term recovery efforts.

Clarios encourages its employees and the public to contribute to the relief efforts. Donations can be made through the Clarios and Red Cross Partnership page to support communities impacted by the recent and upcoming hurricanes.

With Hurricane Milton approaching Florida as a Category 4 storm, Clarios is prioritizing the safety of its employees. The Tampa plant has temporarily suspended operations to ensure employees can focus on their safety and prepare for the storm, while working across our network to mitigate impacts to our business or customers. 

Hurricane Helene made landfall on September 26, 2024, as a Category 4 storm, causing widespread damage from Florida to Virginia. The Red Cross is working with local authorities to provide immediate relief, including shelter, meals, and assistance to affected communities.
