Clarios Receives Daimler Masters of Quality Award for Second Year in Row

For the second year in the row, Clarios has been recognized by Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) with its prestigious Daimler Masters of Quality Award. The award recognized three Clarios plants in Mexico for supporting production requirements, encouraging innovative technologies and committing to performance and quality improvement. In addition, the plants continued to build inventory and prepare shipments during COVID-19 related production shutdowns, to ensure DTNA’s readiness for the restart of truck production.  

This highly prestigious award strengthens Clarios’ partnership with its Original Equipment customer, continuing to build on a five-year agreement signed in 2019. “This award helps build DTNA's confidence in our organization’s ability to support their production requirements, and it helps position us for additional growth in advanced technologies including AGM,” said John Bania, Director of Commercial Truck Global Customer Business Unit and Original Equipment.

Clarios currently has an agreement to provide standard and advanced energy storage solutions to select Daimler production plants and dealer locations.
